How to reach us::
From Sauris di Sotto (1205 m.) follow the forest path which climbs up to Stavoli Raitern.
Continue until you come to the Rifugio. From Lateis by road.

The Mountain Shelter
Eimblaiteribm is no less than 1441 metres above sea level.
It is a masonry and wood building on two floors. The picturesque route leading to it takes
you to the panoramic Col Gentile peak which dominates four different valleys of the Carnia:
Val Pesarina to the north, Val Degano to the east, Val Lumiei to the west and
Val Tagliamento to the south.
The best period for the climb is early summer when the vegetation is
transformed into an extraordinary natural garden, perfumed orchids and
colourful lilies on centre stage. |
